The Evergreen State College Campus Fire Alarm System Upgrade, Olympia, WA
Tres West Engineers has a long-term relationship with The Evergreen State College and has renovated and upgraded fire alarm systems on over one million square feet of buildings on the campus over the years. Each facility has its own stand-alone local panel with connection to a master fire alarm panel at the campus security office. The campus was originally constructed with a Honeywell Delta fire alarm system. Tres West provided the design necessary to segregate the fire alarm system from the Honeywell system.
Green River Community College Campus Fire Alarm System Upgrade, Auburn, WA
Tres West Engineers provided electrical engineering design services and project administration for the fire alarm system upgrade. Coordination and oversight of the fire alarm system contractor as well as coordination with the King County Fire Marshall’s office were the main objectives of this project. Total construction cost was approximately $450,000 with completion in 2002.
Maple Lane School Campus Fire Alarm System Upgrade Study, Littlerock, WA
Tres West Engineers performed a field survey of the entire campus in order to prepare a master fire alarm upgrade program. The survey consisted of fifteen (15) major buildings in this juvenile justice facility.
Rainier School Campus Fire Alarm System Upgrade, Buckley, WA
Rainier School is a State-run facility that cares for the developmentally disabled. It is located in Buckley, Washington. Rainier School has approximately seventy (70) different buildings of various sizes, functions and configurations. Tres West Engineers provided design for the campus fire alarm system upgrade. A new addressable network fire alarm system was installed to back up the aging McCulloh Loop and Digitizer fire alarm receiver. A new central station was placed in the City of Buckley Fire Department for alarm monitoring around the clock. A total of twenty-seven (27) buildings were upgraded in Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project. The fire alarm installations in these facilities were totally upgraded to meet current codes and ADA requirements.
