The Evergreen State College Security Access Control 2006, Olympia, WA The Evergreen State College expanded their existing door Millennium Access Control System in 2006 to provide controlled ingress and egress functions for all exterior doors. Tres West Engineers was retained as prime engineer to provide design for additional security and functionality for 35 exterior doors in Labs I, II and the Art Annex.
	The Evergreen State College S.A.S.S. Remodel, Olympia, WA Telecommunications system infrastructure design was provided using the AVAY Systemax Gigaspeed XL architecture per TESC standards, which the final building remodel will employ. CATV jacks and cabling were installed to provide adequate dB signal levels at each of the jacks. The system assumed 50dB building signal strength from existing networks. This was part of the overall library renovation.
	South Seattle Community College Duwamish Campus Training Buildings, Seattle, WA Tres West Engineers is providing a complete complement of electrical design services for two new buildings at South Seattle Community College's Duwamish Campus. This includes electrical and lighting design for the two new buildings, as well as fire alarm, security, telecommunication and classroom audio-visual system designs.
	Venture Bank Corporate Headquarters Building, DuPont, WA This building is a new three-story facility of 54,000 square feet that will house the bank headquarters, a Venture branch bank and other future office or retail establishments on the first floor. Tres West's design scope included electrical power, plan for backup power generator, interior and exterior lighting, fire alarm, CCTV and access control systems, and telecommunications systems. The telecommunication design included a full horizontal Category 6 cabling system, a backbone system between telecommunications rooms with optical fiber and telephony feeders, a building entrance facility, server room and computer room. A full cable tray layout and telecom room layout with elevation and detail views were included.
	Olympia High School, Olympia, WA Tres West provided electrical and mechanical systems design. Electrical design included power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telephone and data communications. The network infrastructure included the design of over 2,000 Cat 5e drops to classroom and administrative workstations, and the layout and design of 10 Telecommunication Rooms, 1 IDF and 1 MDF room. All telecom rooms were connected with both multimode optical fiber and high-pair count telephone feeder cabling.
