Mr. Horsman began his career in 1962 in Detroit, Michigan. He completed the 4-year educational program at the Detroit Electrical Industry Training Center and began employment in the electrical contracting industry as an engineer, cost analyst, and project manager.

Prior to joining Tres West Engineers, Inc. in 1993, Mr. Horsman owned and operated an electrical contracting firm located in Southwest Florida. He specialized in design-build fast track projects to include retail shopping malls, medical facilities, high-rise office buildings, industrial processes, restaurants, automobile dealerships, banks, and large condominium developments.

During the course of his history with our firm he has had full charge project responsibility. Mr. Horsman performs site surveys, investigates existing facilities, composes evaluation reports, recommends improvements, designs reports and and outlines specifications. He establishes overall electrical design concepts for power distribution systems, lighting, voice, data, security, fire alarm and other systems, prepares cost estimates, directs, supervises, and participates with the design team to prepare project documents, composes and edits specifications, coordinates utilities and related disciplines, maintains client contacts, reviews documents for quality assurance and provides construction support services.
